THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE

At the November Board Meeting, SEBA President Grant Ward presented outgoing Vice President Danny Rosa and District Attorney Sr. Investigator Chad Johnson with plaques of appreciation to thank them for their service to the SEBA Membership.

"Danny was instrumental in developing programs and events to better serve our members," said SEBA President Grant Ward. "He dedicated countless hours of his own time to make sure our members were heard and valued. He will be missed in his role as Vice President, but I'm grateful to have worked alongside him."

Sgt. Rosa served over ten years on the SEBA Board of Directors. During that time, he represented Narcotics, SED, and Chino Hills. He served two terms as Vice President.

"No matter what position I held at SEBA, it was always important for me to serve in a way that positively impacted the overall well being of our membership, even if it meant taking on the tough issues," said Sgt. Rosa.

Sr. Investigator Chad Johnson (pictured above with Sgt. Grant Ward) served as Sergeant at Arms for two years.

ALISHA ROSA SWORN IN AS NEW SEBA VICE PRESIDENT

Detective Alisha Rosa was sworn in as the new SEBA Vice President at Wednesday's Board of Directors Meeting.

"Alisha has been a huge part of our Board of Directors for many years and I can’t wait to see her hit the ground running with new ideas and perspectives to serve our membership," said SEBA President Grant Ward.

She replaces Sgt. Danny Rosa, who announced he would not be seeking a third term on the Executive Board.

"I am honored to be your next Vice President," said Alisha Rosa. "I am optimistic in the direction the association is headed. I plan to continue enhancing the membership experience and hope to provide a greater understanding of the benefits provided by SEBA.

Detective Rosa added that she is excited to make positive changes and work closely with the Board of Directors to meet the needs of each bargaining group within our organization.

SAVE THE DATE: SEBA HOLIDAY PARTY!

Be sure to mark your calendar for our annual Holiday Party. The festivities will take place Thursday, December 15, 2022, from 11 am to 2 pm here at the SEBA office. Along with great raffle prizes, we have a special gift for everybody who attends the party.

We look forward to seeing all of our members and invited guests next month!

TRISTEN

Once again SEBA was proud to sponsor the Kid Zone at this year’s San Bernardino Sheriff's Rodeo.

Thank you to members Alisha Rosa and Kristina Winegar and all the volunteers who made the SEBA Kid Zone a huge success for all our members and their families.

Tristen Crouser is an 18-year-old cancer-survivor, who aspires to compete as a professional roper on the rodeo circuit.

With the help of Deputies Amy Kennedy and Carlos Ortiz and the Sheriff's Rodeo, he is getting closer to his goal and learning how to teach young children the art of roping.

Our short film, Tristen, directed and edited by SEBA Media Production Manager Chris Lee, premieres next Thursday, November 10, across all our social media channels.
