Police Week - 2020

Tonight we honor peace officers who have lost their lives in service to their communities. Under normal circumstances, we would gather in the nation’s capitol for Police Week and take part in a candlelight vigil in remembrance.

The current health crisis prohibits us from physically gathering together but we encourage all our colleagues and supporters to take a moment, light a candle and reflect on the lives of the fallen. Remember their service, their commitment, their passions and their laugh. Say a prayer for their loved ones who are left to mourn. Some may say we are living in uncertain times. Rather than focus on the unknown, let us take note of the constant: your law enforcement professionals are dedicated to serving you through it all.

We take our calling to protect our communities very seriously. Those who paid the ultimate sacrifice are proof of our relentless commitment to your security.
