WHAT OUR MEMBERS SAY

Member Testimonials

As a Probation Employee I want our voice to be heard and that will only happen if our Union backs us. We rely on SEBA to help bring light to issues in effort to get them resolved.

- A. MITCHELL

It gives me plenty of options and it makes me feel safe knowing I have someone there to represent me when things get serious. Also the discounts really help me spend time with my little girls for a good price.

- R. MONTOYA

As a retired member SEBA provides excellent benefits such as gym membership discount and PORAC RAM LDF...do not retire without it!

- D. CLARK

It keeps me in touch with things going on in the organization where I used to work. I like still feeling that connection.

- S. BURGOFF

SEBA has always been there when a partner or I have needed them in any situation.

- V. MEIER

It's great having a solid team go to bat for us during negotiations. The SEBA team works hard for its members. Not to mention all the wonderful perks that go along with our membership.

- D. ROMERO

SEBA has always looked out for its members, and has always had our best interests in mind. A strong union for peace officers is crucial for the occupation. I couldn’t imagine being a deputy sheriff, and not being a SEBA member.

- A. SERRANO

“I am proud to not only be a Deputy Sheriff, but I am proud to also be a member of SEBA. Being able to help the families in our communities through our various charities humanizes the badge and helps build essential relationships within our communities. I feel like SEBA allows their members to exemplify why they chose law enforcement as their profession through these charitable programs that are made possible by SEBA.”

- A. ROSA, Deputy Sheriff

“I really appreciate how SEBA has embraced our Unit despite not being part of the Sheriff’s Department. SEBA has given me the opportunity to get involved with our MOU and become an effective advocate for our members rights. One of my favorite aspects about being part of SEBA is the community involvement. Our charity events, including Shop with a Cop are second to none and bring out the best of our members and allow kids in the community a once in a lifetime opportunity to interact with law enforcement and public safety.”

- P. SAAVEDRA, Hazardous Material Specialist
