Field Representatives
Protecting the jobs and rights of SEBA members is our top priority. That's why SEBA maintains a dedicated team of professional Field Representatives who are available 24/7, 365 days a year. Our team is here to support members during critical incidents, such as Lethal Force Encounters (LFE), in-custody deaths (ICD), and other serious situations. We also assist with grievances, Internal Affairs interviews, administrative appeal hearings, contract dispute resolution, and more. All conversations are held in the strictest confidence.

SEBA members benefit from legal representation through the Peace Officers Research Association of California (PORAC) Legal Defense Fund, which covers job-related civil, criminal, and administrative actions. SEBA also retains the expertise of several top law firms to handle a wide range of issues, from member representation to contract negotiations.
