The men and women who dedicate their lives to upholding the law, and helping their fellow citizens, are true heroes. These unselfish neighbors realize that each day they leave their homes and families it might be their last day on this earth. So the question remains: Why do they do it?
Law enforcement officers, like our men and women in the military, are some of the true patriots of our society who understand the daily threats to the freedoms Americans have come to cherish. They understand that someone needs to protect and guard these freedoms even if it means giving their life in doing so.
Our law enforcement professionals do not expect accolades or a pat on the back for their service. Our dedicated peace officers do their job because they believe in justice and they have a desire to keep their communities safe. We think you will agree there is a great comfort in knowing we have men and women willing to put their lives on the line for the safety of us all. In the face of lingering anti-police sentiment, law enforcement officers count on people who are willing to stand up and express appreciation and respect for the many sacrifices they make in the performance of their duties.
The Fallen Heroes Fund is organized for the purpose of assisting Peace Officers by providing financial relief to them and their families in the event of an officer’s death or catastrophic injury. The Fallen Heroes Fund, and all programs of the SEBA Charity Fund, rely on the public’s continued support to maintain the ability to provide help to our law enforcement personnel when it is needed.
