SEBA Member Corporal Danny Garcia Surprises Local Teen

Caden Henderson’s selfless efforts to help children in local hospitals caught the attention of SEBA member Danny Garcia.

Caden had been hospitalized in 2016 and knows the challenges of being a kid confined to a hospital room while fighting to get healthy. He started “Caden’s Teddy Bears” to help comfort young patients by passing out stuffed animals in pediatric units. He has been diligent in his efforts for years.

But the coronavirus made dropping off teddy bears difficult and forced Caden to rework his charitable model. Caden started raising money for iPads to keep teens entertained and give them a way to connect with loved ones as visitations were severely limited.

Caden’s determination resonated with Danny, who is a corporal with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department. Danny reached out to SEBA to find a special way to say thank you to Caden for his generosity. This is their story. This is SEBA Vlogs…
